settings Email Setup: Outlook 2013

Your email setup credentials

Incoming (POP) server :
Outgoing (SMTP) server :
Account / User Name :
SMTP Authentication : Enabled (same Username as POP)
  Note: If SMTP Authentication is not catered for by your email program, you must rather use your ISP's SMTP server.
SMTP Port : 587

Your email is also available online via Webmail

♦ Is the mail account already setup in Outlook but giving errors – then rather try our  Outlook Troubleshooting guide.

♦ Auto Account Setup (recommended)

Setting up a new email account with Outlook is quick and easy using the Auto Account Setupoption.

Note: This automatic configuration defaults to IMAP – if you prefer POP then follow the Manual Setup instructions below.

1. Launch Outlook 
2. Select File on the top left of the top menu bar.

3. Select the Add Account button in the middle of the screen.outlook2013-add-account1


4. Enter your details on the Auto Account Set-up screen > Next.

5. Outlook will now automatically configure your account as an IMAP account with all the correct settings.

♦ Manual Account Setup

If you prefer to use POP  you will need to setup the account manually:

  1. Launch Outlook, choose File > Account Settings > Add Account (as above)
  2. Choose Manual Setup or additional server types > Next



3. Select POP or IMAP > Next


4. Enter all the relevant details (POP or IMAP) and then select the More Settings…button.

Note: Outlook will auto-fill your user name, please ensure you fill in your entire email address as the username



5. Click on the Outgoing Server tab and ensure that the My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication > Use same settings as my incoming mail server are checked.


6. On the Advanced tab, check your settings as below > OK > Next.

7. Let the test complete and then click Close.
