Your email setup credentials

Email:
me@my-domain.co.za
Incoming (POP) server : mail.my-domain.co.za
Outgoing (SMTP) server : smtp.my-domain.co.za
Account / User Name : me@my-domain.co.za
SMTP Authentication : Enabled (same Username as POP)
  Note: If SMTP Authentication is not catered for by your email program, you must rather use your ISP's SMTP server.
SMTP Port : 587
Your email is also available online via Webmail

 

Select Preferences Menu

1. Launch Apple Mail.
2. From the toolbar at the top, select “Mail” and then “Preferences…”.

3. Click on the Accounts tab.
4. Select the relevant account and ensure that the “Account Information” tab is selected. The settings of the selected account will now appear in the right side. 
5. Ensure that your settings look like the settings shown in the screen below.

6. Select “Advanced” and ensure that your settings look like the settings shown in the screen below.

6. Once your settings look like the settings shown in this screenshot, go back to the “Account Information” tab and click on the “Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP)” drop down menu and select“Edit SMTP Server List…” as shown below.

8. Select your SMTP server from the list.
9. Confirm that your “Server Name” is entered correctly as shown below.
10. Ensure “TLS Certificate” is set to none”.
11. Select the “Advanced” tab.

12. Ensure that your settings look like the settings shown in the screen below.

Save Your Settings

13. Your email account should now be configured correctly.
14. Be sure to save your changes when prompted.
